  • Congratulations to our 2019 Poker Winner – Pete Mazzone! Look for him at the World Series of Poker this summer. All event guests enjoy live music, and a variety of charitable gaming including, roulette, craps, and blackjack, along with chance to win over $20,000 in prizes.
  • Central Illinois Poker is the only place in central Illinois where you can play live charity poker. You must be 18 years old in order to play charity poker in Illinois. The hosting charity offers tournaments (both single table and multi-table) and Cash games at every Central Illinois Charity Poker event.

About the event

Variety's Charity Poker & Casino Night has become one of the most anticipated fundraising events in the industryas entertainment execs and celebrities Go ALL IN for a Great Cause! To date, Variety's nine Poker events have raised over one million dollars to provide lifesaving support for disabled, abused, physically-challenged, and underprivileged children in Southern California. Held at the beautiful Paramount Studios lot, over 350 studio executives, corporate partners and industry colleagues enjoy great food and Vegas-style gameplay. Before the cards are dealt, celebrities walk the Red Carpet and help raise awareness for Variety while Access Hollywood captures the evening's festivities. Jamie Gold, World Series of Poker Main Event Champion hosts the evening and Special Celebrity Guest Announcer Bruce Buffer – Voice of the UFC – kicks off the night.

Last Year – At our 9th Annual Poker Night on July 24th, 2019, singer/songwriter Austin Mahone helped us present adaptive bikes to 4 amazing and deserving kids!

Professional poker players and poker enthusiasts filled the Keep Memory Alive Event Center for the second annual Texas Hold ‘Em Charity Poker Tournament on Friday, Sept. 27. Hosted by casino legend Jack Binion, proceeds from the tournament benefit Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health Stator slot insulation paper inserting machine. and its fight against neurodegenerative diseases including Alzheimer's, Huntington's, Parkinson's, multiple sclerosis, and more.

The evening kicked off with a reception where guests were treated to the musical stylings of Michael Shulman, and enjoyed tastings provided by Greene St. Kitchen, wine and specialty cocktails by Southern Glazers Wine & Spirits and Casa Dragones, and a make-your-own margarita bar by Kimo Sabe.

Elite poker players and celebrities in attendance included Jack McClelland, Barry and Allyn Shulman, Jon Taffer, David Williams, and Duane 'Dewey' Tomko. Partygoers, along with family and friends, had a great time as they played blackjack, and roused games of Jenga, corn hole and foosball. At the end of the evening, the winner received a $10,000 cash prize.

'More than 34,000 patients have visited our no-cost social services at the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health,' said Keep Memory Alive's Co-Founder Larry Ruvo. 'These types of events are so meaningful to our programs and frankly we wouldn't exist without your support. You have my thanks and all of our patient's thanks for being here tonight.'
